Okeover Breakwater

Went with a group form the dive shop to Okeover breakwater on Sunday trying to get out of the strong NW thats been flip flopping here for the last pile of days.
It was still coming into Oke and thew vis was a bit disturbed but nothing like in the Strait.
Water was a  so far season record 39 deg F and wind chill pre dive made it brisk.

I saw an umbrella crab or butterfly crab right off the draw but only got the one frame of him . Lots of feather dusters and other growth on lines in the area
Here's a bit of what else we saw.

Kinghorn Island West and Mac's pinnacle

Wow. We went and did another reccy at Kinghorn is. where we had not had a great dive before and were plesantly surprised by structure and life.
Mac's pinnacle continues to be elusive in giving up the best of itself and needs more test dives. It always amazes me when diving some of these walls and pinnacles how much time it takes to research them and tease the best out.
Its good to be staging out of Bliss Landing and i am excited about the exploration potential.

Great day guys.
